Dancing Color 1C by Matthew Dear. Archival Pigment Print on Cradled HD Aluminum. Edition of 1. 36 X 36 Inches. Comes with a Letter of Provenance signed by 1XRUN.

Matthew Dear is a musician who has found renewed excitement in manipulating color and image after rediscovering his love of painting and visual art expression while painting and coloring with his children.

For over a decade, he has been honing in on themes and styles that relate to his love of color and image, creating a signature style that balances radiant hues, simple forms, and striking shapes, evoking an equal sense of discord and harmony.

This work of art is currently on display at Spotlite as part of Matthew Dears exhibition, Dancing Color, from December 2024 - February 22, 2025.

Dancing Color is a celebration of my love for color and its ties to our emotions. Each piece in this new collection explores the territory where hues interact and harmonize. Printed large, these works invite you to step closer and get lost in their movement and energy. I hope you’ll see the playfulness and curiosity that fuels each piece and feel the vibrant life that ties it all together.

Artwork will be available to ship by mid March 2025
