"When I decided to pick up a camera, I really didn’t know if I would be able to make
a career out of it. I just knew that it felt right and intriguing enough to explore
more.

Photography has allowed me to learn about other artists and works that I feel
deeply connected to, namely Gordon Parks. Multifaceted in numerous art forms
and doing it at a high level, Parks inspired me to embrace my pluralistic interests
and abilities throughout my 14 years of photographing.

“TEN” is a collection of photographs taken throughout my 10 year span as a full
time photographer and documentarian. This collection highlights people, places and
timeless moments in their most natural state. Inspired by music photography and
street photography, “TEN” is a manifestation of how music and my upbringing in
Detroit has always played an important role in my life and career as an artist and
